Our Journey
PT Gwenelda Prima Utama was established as a strategic expansion of PT Gwenelda Prima Makmur. This step was taken to reduce dependence on external Balsa suppliers by developing our own two hectare plantation, prepared and ready for cultivation.
2024
• In April 2025, GPU officially began operations with a production facility in East Seram, Maluku, and a head office in Surabaya.
• Production capacity expanded to 24,000 cubic meters per year, positioning GPU as a Balsa supplier for export markets across East Asia.
2025
Expansion phase with target markets including Japan, South Korea, and Europe.
