The Journey of Balsa
From Seed to Application
1
Selection of Superior Seeds
Carefully selected seeds from the best parent trees ensure fast growth, stability, and consistent wood quality.
2
Nursery Stage 1 to 1.5 Months
Seeds are cultivated in a controlled environment until the seedlings are strong enough to be transferred to the field.
3
Field Planting
Seedlings are planted with a spacing of 3 by 3 meters, providing each tree with optimal room to grow.
4
Routine Maintenance
• Weeding to reduce nutrient competition
• Targeted fertilization for uniform growth
• Responsible pest management
This approach ensures healthy tree development while maintaining the surrounding ecological balance.

5
Growth Until Harvest Age
Balsa is cultivated for approximately three years until it reaches a trunk diameter of 25 to 40 centimeters.
6
Measured and Planned Harvesting
Harvesting is conducted selectively to maintain sustainability and continuous land regeneration.
7
Processing at the GPU Facility
• Precision sawing according to standard dimensions
• Kiln drying to control moisture content
